"The company Mudd Honey Hill was founded in March 2014 by good friends Emily Wilson and Allie Farlowe. Both designers have creative backgrounds receiving BFA degrees in costume design and jewelry at the University of Georgia. Their studios are based in Senoia, Georgia and in Belmont, North Carolina.

 

At Mudd Honey Hill everything is by hand from their sterling silver earrings and baby spoons to their fabric button jewelry. Each design blends a love of interesting fabrics, rich textures, and vintage materials. The goal is to create timeless pieces that catch the eye.

 

The designers particularly love all things vintage! You see this in Mudd Honey Hill’s fabrics and jewelry accents. Frequently works pair late nineteenth century and early twentieth century reproduction fabrics with recent designs. These combinations make wonderful juxtapositions. In addition accents are often treasures found during trips to local thrift and antique stores. Searching for these pieces is something that Emily and Allie truly enjoy doing.
